About

Manna-hata Movies was created by filmmaker Michael R. Santana. Though raised, and still living in Southern California, Michael came into this world via the incomparable borough of Manhattan in New York City.

The word Manna-hata is a Lenape term meaning "island of many hills. That term evolved into what we all know as MANHATTAN, the very place that births the inspiration into Michael's work.

The city itself is very abundant, lively and aspirational. On the other hand, it holds a darkness, a loneliness that can inspire and aspire all the same.

This "darkness" is the more intriguing part of life.
